why do i want one? because i like that style of art. it's an ART form and that's one of the ways i want to express myself. i cant sing or dance, but i draw like a mad man in prison with nothing else to do. i want all my original works on me.

I have never had to make an appointment in advance when I got a tattoo. I have had to wait up to an hour at the tattoo parlor but it took me that long to decide what I wanted to get. A word of advice: at 18 tattoo's are pretty cool, at 40 (and you will get there someday) they may not be as cool. I don't regret the ones I have but they are not really visible to everyone unless I want them to be. I'm glad that I didn't get them where they could not be hidden, especially after I had my kids.

Depends on the person doing the tattoo. Some can take you right away. You may want to go in a few weeks ahead of time to get the artist to draw your tattoo out and customize it to fit your style that way you'll be ready to go when you walk in to have it done. Good luck!

You can call the week of. Actually you can call the day of. But if you need to talk with your artist first and decide what you want, go now. That way if they are going to design you something original they are not rushed. Good Idea to check out the shop first and make sure they have a great health inspection. Ask them if you can watch them do someone else tat. This way you can be sure that they are clean and sterile. Have fun with your first, but beware, they are addictive!!! LOL

I've been a tattoo artist for 10 years now. The best advice I can give to you would be make sure you look at their portfolio!!!! As far as appointments go it all depends on the shop.

Depends on where you live, usually the same day works but I call the day before. A word of warning, do alot of research on the shop, and demand to watch them remove the needle from an unopened package. Tattoos are one of the major ways to catch Hep. c.

Get it somewhere that I can't see it on the day you come in for an interview--you know, the job that will pay you the money you need for your first real house, your awesome car, vacations...allow you to have health insurance....if I see that tattoo, the interview is OVER

a few days. Maybe a week if its a busy parlor. You need to call the tattoo parlor you are intrested in to answer your question. They are the only ones who can help you.

why dont you put it on canvas or something you can sell...unless your gonna walk around half naked all the time...no one see it to appreciate it.....if your that good...make some money out of it....only other tatooers are going to be interested in the art work thats on your body....no regular person is going to come up to you and ask you where you got that....
