i dont think u can control it. but u should not try to control it. its gonna be harmful if you try to control it because the body is trying to expel the allergens and u are fighting against it.

My friend's dad had this big sneeze that sounds like AA-PooHA! We always made fun of him for it! I can control it. If I'm alone I let out a big one and it feels so good, but if I am at work I hate sneezing loud so I do this inverted sneeze/snort thing. Some people do have cute sneezes though. Dainty little achoos. I hate the ones that sneak up and you get very little warning though. They can be messy!!

I know a sweet little old lady who can sneeze in church and its barely audible, but if she's being ignored the sneeze ends in a shrill whoop!

I don't think so, but I know of some people who when they sneeze I WISHED they could control it. They are so LOUD and annoying! Like my Grandpa...I hate being around him when he sneezes...hurts my ears.

Not really.
However it is impossible to sneeze with your eyes open. So I guess you could hold your eyes open until the sneeze feeling passes.

i have allergies, to dust to pet dander, to perfume, make up everything, and when im at work i try to lower down the volume of my sneeze but it still comes out loud, maybe a notch lower than when I am at home.

i wish we do but we dont. dont try to close ur mouthwhen u sneeze tomake it smaller b/c that just makes it bigger and did u know when you sneeze ur eyes always close?
