I don't have a Samsung d600, but when my Nokia 6010i says No Network it means no service. Go outside or near a window.

I agree with others your not getting a signal try it somewhere else in a different area if you still have problems take your phone back as the sim card may be faulty. Other problem it could be a stolen phone youve bought of someone and the network operator has blocked it.

register it to the tri-band -> setting -> network services
may be a network problem. dodgy or unregistered SIM
if not take it back

it could be that the Sim card is faulty or needs to be updated try bringing it to nearest store and they can do this for you should be free
