Anyone out there who does not drink alcohol?

Question

Everywhere I look nowadays I see drinking. Now I know its not bad, but I've already kind of made up my mind that I'm not going to drink. I'm not of the drinking age yet anyways, but it seems like everyone in the world drinks, anyone out there who doesn't and is still cool?

Their are a lot of us . We are usually low key and rich! We don't have criminal records. We don't make dumb mistakes [Wake up and try to figure out who is in bed with us, we don't have our drinks drugged......] Wise choice!! Stay sober and watch a bunch of drunk people some time boy can they put on a show. I am not a religious person so this has nothing to do with that.

I don't drink and have NOT HAD A DRINK SINCE Feb 8, 1986 and I don't miss it, I am a member of Bill W. [ AA ]. I am an alcoholic. Drinking is NOT ALL THAT COOL! I have had several people congratulate me for giving up the drinking. I feel better now, then when I was drinking. Not drinking is COOL!! DON'T LET ANYONE BULLY YOU INTO DRINKING. I get mad when I hear of someone who has had several DWI's and still allowed to drive!! My brother was killed by a Drunk Driver in 1980. So take my advice and don't start drinking, you don't know what it does to you until you lose someone because of a DRUNK DRIVER or you hurt someone else because of drinking!!
I applaud you for not drinking!! So, Please don't start Drinking!!

I don't drink alcohol... and i believe it's the right decision. I did a couple of times, and doesn't gets the best of me...last time i felt really embarrased 'cause i made a fool of myself. Media tries to tell u it is cool to drink, but that's not true...they just want to sell.
One of the best decision u can make is to stay away from drinking...
Drinking alcohol may not damage ur body and life en the first years, but it sure will when u get older. It just isn't worth it

I do not drink! However I am an alcoholic and have lived in darkness for the majority of my adult life,sober for 3 years and now a member of AA-I applaud your decision to not drink and hope you do not start,but there are a lot of people that we call normies that can drink responsibly,so I have to be careful not to condemn those that can ,there are also a lot of us who have the disease of alcoholism and it is deadly for us to consume that first drink.Yes there are a lot of "cool" people who do not drink and you might seek out others that feel the way that you do

I have been a social drinker most of my life. Alcohol did not interfere with my life. I thought it was ok. It became a daily habit after work to have a couple cocktails to wind down.

Long story short, last month I woke up in so much pain I prayed to die. I started vomiting and ended up in the ER. They told me after running tests, etc. that if I took another drink, I would die.
The real ironic part of this story is, I have not missed drinking at all. Have not thought about it. I am much happier and I feel better mentally.

I know a lot of people that do not drink. I know a lot of important "cool" people as you refer to them, that do not drink.

Stick with your feelings and convictions, don't get sidetracked by peer pressure and all that garbage. It only ends in someone getting hurt.......................

I do not drink alcohol, though I did when I was younger. I found that I either got sick or did something stupid. That is what wasn't cool. I actually think it is cool to NOT drink alcohol.

i don't really want to drink. maybe some wine when i'm older but other than that, no. something happened with a friend recently (she's alive, she's fine. just snuck some champagne one day after getting in a fight with friends) so whenever i see alcohol i feel sick when i think of her.

i drink very rarely...but man jus caus some1 drinks dosen mean they are cool...i mean look at Barney from Simpsons..
