I have a friend with an 11 year-old girl who wants to wear a simple black robe for Halloween and other occasions. Does anyone know where she could buy one? (Please don't say google it because I have, I just get books about stories).

If you go to Rite-Aid during like the last week of October, they have lots of costumes there. There she can find her black robe. Maybe she could evenfind another costume that she fins interesting while she's there!

I have never come across such an instance. Buddhist monks should wear orange-saffron robe. They should also not care what they wear as long as they follow their percepts and quiet their senses. (also meditation)
