yeah, i cant figure it out, whenever i go to the petstore, i can never get how they get there fishtank to glow blue >,,< i checked the light, and its a regular colour...

Try buying an actinic bulb for your tank (commonly used in salt water tanks), it will make your fish glow.

The fish tanks get blue because of a medicine called Methylene Blue. It aids in general disease prevention, including superficial fungal infection, ich, and costia. It also detoxifies fish from nitrite or cyanide poisoning. You can use it with adults and with eggs.
There are several brands that sell this product, but all do the same function.

There are some fish medications that turn the water blue. But the stores in my area don't have blue water.

If you want a blue tank without having to medicate it, buy a blue background for your tank.
