I have an O2 Blue headset(British). The sound output from the PC works fine and can be heard on the headset. However, the microphone of the headset is not sending any signal back to the PC.

Anyone have any experience of using a mobile phone bluetooth earpiece with their PC, specifically the microphone of the headset as an input device to the PC for dictation software?

I'm pretty sure you can. More than likely, you'll need some type
interface equipment which can plug into on of your jacks.

I have heard they are coming out with some new ones that will work PC's, and I bet yours can to if there was a driver out there that would make it work on the PC. PC sees it and recognizes as best it can as a speaker but without further instructions it doesnt know how to utilize the headset as a microphone as well.

Does your company have a policy against it? What kind of personal protective equipment, if any, do you wear in the warehouse? (Steel-toed boots or hard hat, gloves, etc.) Does the headset interfere with any safety protocols, like impair his ability to hear shouts of warning, or a horn on a fork truck, etc.? Is anyone else permitted to carry his or her cell phone and keep it with them while on duty in the warehouse?

Check in the advanced audio settings of your PC, maybe your microphone is silenced, i had the same problem when i was doing the same and that was it.
