Every day! We don't get half the considerations other races do. We don't have organizations like the NAACP to fall back on. We don't play the race card. We don't have special interest groups to scream bloody murder every time some thin skinned jerk gets his or her feelings hurt. Everything that goes wrong in society is always the white mans fault. Frankly I don't care how it sounds but it's true. All I try and do is mind my own business but many times it's not enough. I'll be dammed however if I'm going to climb in a hole and pretend these things don't happen!!!

I believe that ever race faces being discriminated against. There will always be a battle of races. I'm white and I have been discriminated against because of it. I'm white can I play basketball and be good at it? Most people would say no....well if i was black would I be good at it? And in response to one of the other people who answered with a huge laugh, and saying white people aren't discriminated against, refer back to a question you asked. Why does it matter that the black guys liked the "unpretty" white girls? I also agree with the other response, some races do scream and throw a fit when they feel discriminated against. The have corporations to defend them, and college funds because of their race....What do white people have? White people can't get a scholarship just for being white, some other races can get one just for being there race.

To put in simple the answer is yes, I have been discriminated against because I'm white. I lost a job at the post office because they needed a black to keep the balance, I lost some grant money for school for the same reason, they only give so much and it had to be earmarked for the minority and me being a single, over 40 mother of 3 didn't make me a minority.

More and more everyday. I live and Texas and it is really getting bad here. We are being pushed aside for the Mexicans. I was in my social security office the other day trying to get a replacement card and they had a lady taking the Mexicans who could not speak English to the front of the line to get their card. I had to wait, but they got preferential treatment. I also don't understand why we have to push any button on the phone for English. I thought English was the national language. I am sure other white people and other races are being discriminated against, too, but it is getting really bad for the whites.

I just listened to the words of a song by Toby Mac (supposively a Christian rapper). He generalized and said "white America" hated an individual for being black. Comments like this often cause racial problems. I'm part of white America. I have never hated anyone for the color of their skin. I never owned a slave, yet I'm often accused of enslaving African Americans before I was even born. There are white Americans that are racists - I won't deny that, but not all whites are racists. Instead of making a racial comment about an entire group of people, base it on the individuals who actually are racists. People do "discriminate" against all whites regularly because of the past or the hatred of a few individuals.

I have felt the pain of it, i went to a school in seattle,
where there where only 20 white kids
I have been called honky, cracker etc
I also worked at a job for 8years, and was told,by my boss I was not getting promoted
the new girl was because she was black,and it would look good for the company since they never had a black person in managment
these things are why, I do understand how hurtfull,it could be to only be judged by the color of your skin
its not right for anyone

i've got self belief that ever race faces being discriminated against. there'll continuously be a conflict of races. i'm white and that i've got been discriminated against using fact of it. i'm white am i able to play basketball and be sturdy at it? maximum folk might say no....properly if i became black might I be sturdy at it? everyday. it is so easy for minorities to blame white people when they fail, but we don't have that luxury, we blame ourselves, " like everyone should" when we make a mistake. don't people see how wrong it is to just plain out fire a white person for no other reason than they need to hire a black person? if you say no, then you have tottally succumbed to all the reverse racism affirmative action propaganda. what about college entrance points? has anyone heard the story a few years back who had a perfect SAT score, but still wasn't accepted at U of Michegan because they needed more minorities? Tell me thats not f'ed up.

I've been snubbed and treated poorly by persons of other races(rarely, but it has happened). I have had the feeling that it was because I was white, but no one has ever said that in words so I can't be sure. They could have just been having a bad day!
