freshmen year i took intergerated math 1 and
sophmore year i took geometry and
junior year i'm taking alegbra 2.

and in order to pass highschool you need to take alegrba 1.

and the school is deciding that the intergrated class i took isn't going to count as Alegrba 1 so they want me to take either.

algbra 1 or 2, and then it will count.

currently i'm enrolled for alegbra 2 but i forgot everything about some stuff in alegbra like radicals and how to simply and such.

so i don't know if i should go and retake alegbra 1 JUNIOR year or just continue with the class i'm taking.. which is alegbra 2 and stuggle with it.

If your struggling then my advise is to take Algebra 1 . That was you can refresh your memory and be more confident in your Algebra knowledge. Good for you for caring enough ! Your my kind of student! Anie, I got your question but couldn't respond due to non confirmation of your email but heres my responce....(I hope you get it) You are an ideal student. A teachers dream. Taking Algebra 1 will give you a stronger foundation for Algebra 2. Plus, you could always take Algebra 2 over the summer. As for the colleges, they should respect your decision, and you can tell them why during your interview. I think any college will be luck to have a student like you attending. You seem very committed to learning. A real attribute.

It depends on if you are willing to put in extra work. If it's only a couple things you can't remember then you can probably just go and study it again and be fine. But, if it is a significant amount of the material then I would say your best bet would be to do Algebra 1. It won't be so bad, even if you are a junior. Plus, if you are really behind in Algebra 2 your grade could be lower and it will lower your GPA.

talk with your teacher first, so she can advise you on what to do. personally, i'd advise you to take up algebra 1, but you have to consider whether or not this will affect your eduacation.
