I live in central illinois, and I'm really not the least bit concerned about terrorism...(knock on wood)....I really don't think I would be even if I lived in Ny, NY.....Is anyone else concerned/not concerned about it?

Why worry?.....if we stay afraid and are scared all the time, then the terrorists have done thier job. If we live our lives as though they can't bother us....then we win. If it happens it happens. Not much we can do to stop stupid people from hurting others. We even have terrorists within our own people (Like Timothy McVey). There will always be terrorists - so just go on with your life as normal.

I live in upstate NY. I'm reasonably afraid of terrorism. But I don't let it control my life. I just try to be aware of the people and things around me. It pays for all of us to be more vigilant.

No, I really do not. It does not keep me off planes or from going to public places. That why I do not buy these politician saying they can make you more safe. I feel safe now...ok...next issue please.
Ok, so I already got a thumbs down...why. Cause I know there is more of a threat of me dying on the way home tonight then in a terrorist attack. Lets look at a pure statistically. How many people die in America everyday from a terrorist attack? How many people die everyday in America from a car accident?

Of course people are afraid, it is to be expected!! Look at the devastation this has caused, the incident on 911 people are going to be very afraid, people want to feel secure and protected.
I don't live in fear, but it is definately a big concern, people want answers and for the government to take action!

I'm afraid of it but I'm not sure we can do anyrhing about it unless we temorarily slam shut our borders & racially profile for awhile. It might be cheaper in the long run. This war is costing us 5-6 billion a day.
