I think your mom has every right to be concerened , there are some really creepy people out there on my space .I would let her see everyone on your friends list 4 or 5 times a week and only invite people you know, like friends from school or relatives. You should give your mom access to some of the convo's you have too . She sounds like she is being a good mom and is trying to protect you.
I'm an adult and my blogs on my space have been hacked ,and infiltrated by some people I thought were friends and turned out to be creepy people , so if it can happen to me it can surely happen to a teen.... so be very careful about giving any indication of your location (i.e) I wouldnt indicate in the Schools section where you go to school etc , you are leaving yourself vunerable to anyone out there in cyberworld. Your mom has your best interests at heart , and your safety, you would be wise to listen to her.

Well just tell her that u will only have friends u know and that u will bolock other people from coming in unless they know u and if that doesn't work then let her monitor it otherwise she is crazy!!!

allow her to get on your site everyonce and a while. If your not doing anything wrong it shouldnt hurt. Im a mom so i understand.

i told my mom i only have my friends tht i know on it. and i showwed he that its protected and stuff an and she lets me go on
