why won't my playstaiton 2 play blue disks?

Question

You know the games that are blue one one side. It use to play them and the other day I reset to read speed to fast and it worked but now that doesn't work either. Does anyone know why it does this. It is a newer model than the first ones that came out.

I am NOT TALKING ABOUT BLUE RAY DISKS, I am talking about the video games with blue on one side.

That happend on my all the time, try a disk cleaner or hold you playstation sideways like you would if you were going to use the plastation stand to hold it strate up, that normaly works for mine or you can just try to tilt it a little you have to play with it.. Some times they work sometimes they dont... If I can get the disk cleaner to work then i try holding it diffrent ways.....

I have had the same problem--sometimes cleaning the disc helps, other times I have had to reset the machine several times before it would read the disc
and yes, I am talking about PS2 games that are blue on one side

Um, you mean Blu-Ray (Blue Ray), its not like a laser disk (cd), PS wont play blu ray.

there is a way to fix this. you have to be willing to take apart your ps2 and play with it. you can find step by step instructions immediately downloaded to your pc on ebay i used it and my ps2 works great it will vois a warranty, but most of us have had the ps2 longer than the warranty.
