I have a suburban that has been given to us...and to check out how much it's worth...I'm trying to find out if it's a 1998 Chevy Suburban LS or LT??

the Suburban had 3 trim levels in 1998 a base model the LS then the LT (the LT was the top of the line trim) if there are no markings on the vehicle it is most likely a base model, the higher the trim level the more options were standard and interior trim, for example most LT's will have leather) you can contact your local Chevy dealer with the vin (serial) number and the can advise you of which model you have. you can try autotrader.com kellybluebook.com

An LT model oh chevy trucks and suv's usually comes loaded with leather, heated seats etc. As where there LS model's usually only come in cloth seats. In other words the LT was the Top of the LINE for Chevy until 2005. Now they got LT 1 LT 2 LT 3.

The LS is the more upscale version. Also, LT stands for Limited Trim, LS stands for Limited Series.

Look up the VIN.that will tell what engine ,trim,paint,interior,emissions and where it was originally delivered.
