My 7 year old daughter spilled some on her leg and got a 2nd degree burn that has left a scar. When we reported this to them it took 2 days to get back to us and they offered to pay for ER visit. We were not after money. But should we let this be?

i worked there years ago and know by state law food has to be extemely hot for health reasons. If they are willing to pay the bill accept with grace. It was not there fault she got hurt for it was an accident that she spilled it. Unfoutunatly some accidents are worse then others

Uhh you do know that stores like food markets sell Taco Bell stuff like tacos that comes with cheese. Highly doubt they'll give you a pack of cheese unless they want you to pay for the cheese like a cent or something. I really don't know. :/

i am going to sue taco bell if the nacho cheese is not hot.

take responsibility for you and your daughters actions, the cheese is supposed to be hot. are you going to sue them if your daughter sticks a spork in her eye because taco bell doesnt provide goggles with their sporks?

they were gracious enough to pay for the hospital visit, they should not have to do that even, they are just being nice.

dont be a bad person with an entitlement mentality. i think people that sue like this should go to jail, they know that they are just theives that can get away with stealing money from others by suing them because dumb juries sometimes get duped into giving money to theives because they parade cute or frail people that were injured in front of them.

do the right thing

yeah, allmaddenmister is right. You should be happy that the Taco Bell you went to serves FRESH WARM CHEESE. There's very few that do anymore. Plus, I don't think it's that possible that your daughter got a HORRIBLE 2nd degree burn, she might just have very sensitive skin. After all, she is still very young. I don't believe this is something so severe to be angry about. Just look at it this way, it's a great story to tell around the dinner table.

Not to mean, but why is your 7 year old, eating nachos and cheese. It is so poisonous. I work in a fast food restaurant, that just came out with Grilled Chicken Nachos. They have over 1,000 calories, and the sodium is is 2304 Mg. Besides don't you know that cheese on nachos is hot. If your that dumb, then I fell sorry for you. I think it is dumb we need warnings on coffee because some dumb lady spilt it on her self and sewed. She did not deserve a thing in my opinion.

I have the same problem at our Taco bell but it wasn't 2nd degree burn though. Their isn't much you can do but you can write to your gov. of your state and ask about how you can change the temp for Taco bell's cheese. :-)

yup. let them pay the bill. Then they will be careful to watch temperatures.

it's not their fault cheese was spilled, but it is their fault if it was hot enough to cause 2nd degree burns.

they are responsible.
