What do you all think??

NO!! It removes 20,000 nerve endings. It is not cleaner for an infant, and as my pediatrician put it "by the time the foreskin is retractable he will be MORE than happy to care for it, trust me!"
There is no good that come from making the choice for someone else to remove a normal useful part of his body. Check out the link I provided! My first son was done and he suffered from everything circumcision was supposed to prevent!!! Including "buried penis." In fact, my second son is intact and extremely happy. There will always be women who like foreskins, so that should never be a question. Think what would happen if fathers started dictating what baby girls would have done to their bodies based on their preferences? Oh, the war that would start then!
As the good doctor said, "Wash, don't amputate. If you want to get rid of a dirty part, cut off his ears. Little boys always ignore THEM. They're boys! Trust them to clean their favorite part. But be prepared for a bigger water bill." ;)

No, circumcision is not a must. The decision is up to the parents before the baby boy leaves the hospital. It is recommened because it does keep things cleaner. I think its cruel because why alter the foreskin if thats the way the package comes???

You should read what's been written by professionals on either side of this argument. It's very interesting to see what anti-circumcision arguers have to say, and this is a discussion my husband and I will be visiting when we have a baby boy. (I don't think it's right not to use an anesthetic.) Look up some professional articles online.

Circumcision is not for everyone. Lots of different cultures don't do it.
As far as losing feeling, I think that most circumcised men would tell you they are getting off just fine.

I think if you are born with it it must be there for a reason. We don't cut any "extra" skin off girls. My 4 brothers were not, my husband is not and my 2 boys are not. I would not put my kids through that kind of pain!

Circumsision is not a must. it's more of an aesthetic thing, i guess. My mom was sorry years later cause she saw this video about infants getting circumsised. said it looks scary. I did it with my sons because of the fact that I didn't want to be having to worrying about weather or not they're washing correctly. If it's not taken care of properly then infections can happen and that would be bad.

I'm circumcised, my brother isn't. I don't envy him, he doesn't envy me, and all of our girlfriends have been quite happy.
It really doesn't matter in this century-- it's not like you can make a penis pretty.

No, it isn't a must for men, and it's a big no-no for women.
