Yeah, there is "The Simple Solution To Rubik's Cube", by James G. Nourse, by Bantam Books, published in 1981. May be found in E-
bay, or some on-line book sellers.

Hillbilly is right about the book, "Simple Solutions to Rubiks Cube."
It shows you what to do when certain color combinations are present. It uses math algorithms to manipulate the color to go where you want it to end up. It is not necessarily easy, but it does work...

my dad told me that the fastest rubiks cube people have to study the cube for a long time to figure out what they're going to do to finish really quickly. so study it before you move anything for a long time. and don't rush. think.

yes acutally and it's not just peeling off the stickers. you need to get the corners first. like have all the corners on one side be red and all the cornors on another side blue. once you have two corners of the same colors it's really easy and you can see how to fix it.

It would drive you mad to try and do it yourself, as you probably make it worse half the time. There was a booklet about it, and it showed you how to get back to square one so to speak.I guess there must be a website as said above.

there's no trick. taht's the thing about old puzzles. they have to be solved using patience and the resistance to the urge of killing yourself. if you're impatient you can just paint the sides or take off the stickers and place them where you want.
