First you have to answer whether you are a homosexual or straight. Once you answer this, then you can begin to understand. It is different to a lot of people; the importance of communication, sex, love, working as a team, etc. But no one is going to give you the same answer. It is something you will learn as time goes on and you are not just trying to be a smart %$#*&% teenager or homosexual. So grow up and learn.

You're asking about what seem like three entirely unrelated things.

Love is an emotional connection between two people, based on caring, affection, compassion, acceptance and respect. It has nothing to do with sex or gender.

Sex is voluntary physical intimacy between two people, who are able to and do consent to such intimacy. Sex may be used for reproduction or pleasure or both. It has nothing to do with gender or emotional connection.

Your references to one-night stands and homosexuality have no apparent connection to either of the above.

I know people who deeply love each other that don't have sex, or that have sex once (technically a "one night stand"), but remain committed as friends.

And sexual orientation refers to who we find sexually or personally attractive, and has nothing to do with whether sex actually happens or not.

Oh come on..,men are not physically made to screw other men and women to satisfy other women..,nothing religous about it...,its the way we are made,nature..,so homosexuals cannot love or make love..,impossible and homosexuals cannot reproduce..,apparently you havent figured that out yet.Part of being in love is making love to them..,the way nature intended us to..,not what homosexuals want to call satisfying each other.Am I a bigot as far as homosexuals are concerned???YOURE DAMNED STRAIGHT.

love is a bond no one can see or measure that makes me inseparable from my spouse. we are married, but that was just for the party.

this is why i don't think it should be withheld from anyone capable of making decisions for themselves. we should champion the bond of love: not marriage, not weddings and not sex. those are all incidentals.

you know of love because you have seen its results. society hinges upon it always. and when we mistake sex for love, you see the anger over gay marriages. my bond is mine, it is sacred because i make it so. i think the most abhorrent thing is to say to someone, no, you are incapable of love and undeserving of all the structures we have built around it.
