It behooves this administration not to find Osama Bin Laden. By keeping Osama elusive a looming threat always hangs on the horizon, thus keeping people in a constant state of fear and anxiety. It is when people are in the throes of trepidation that they turn to leaders who pay the best lip service to strong military defense and security. Put simply it works to Bush, and his cohort’s advantage, to sustain the myth of Bin Laden’s far-reaching treachery.

Several factors, the rough terrain, the people that help him hide and keep funding him,and the same reason why we cant catch Americas most wanted in the states. Its impossible to be everywhere at once and doing everything to catch him..,but believe me,we havent stopped looking and HE IS A PRIORITY!!!We will get that bastard!!

Because GWB "doesn't spend that much time on it"
honestly, I think the Saudis don't want him touched, so we quit looking for him and went to Iraq instead. the Administration knows Americans can't tell one Arab from another, let alone and Arab from an Afghan.
Is there any other explanation for why we can't find a 6'6" tall Yemeni Arab who is on dialysis in a country full of small brown mountain men in Afghanistan, Come on now! We have satellites that can tell you what color I'm wearing..and we can't find Osama?

Capturing Osama Bin Laden(OBL) is not conducive to President Bush's "economic recovery plan"(ERP). His current ERP involves domestic defense spending and funneling money into the domestic defense industry through loans to other countries which must be used to purchase military supplies from defense contractors in the US. To necessitate this need for defense spending, President Bush needs an enemy. If the US were to capture OBL, there would no longer be a "justifiable" need to spend billions of dollars "fighting" terrorists.

Bush has left too few military personnel in Afghanistan to search for him. Attention was shifted to Saddam three years ago. Most have been redeployed to Iraq, and other regions.

Just a warning- I am not super smart on this subject, but my co-workers were discussing this today. something like there were only 6 planes allowed to take off on 9/11 and one of them was bin laden's family. there is money changing hands behind the scenes. c'mon this i know... bush owns oil, cheney owns haliburton. like i said, maybe i am just ignorant on this subject
