right there with you sweetie im almost 38 weeks i've been taking evening primrose oil (it helps soften the cervix) until your cervix is soft nothing else will work! and your cervix won't soften unfortunately until your body is ready! but its still worth a try i insert 2 vaginally i take six by mouth and i rub some on my stomach because it is supposed to be absorbed through skin as well you can get it from wal-mart or from any herbal store (i recommend the herbal store) good luck

I heard drinking rasberry tea helps and this warm milk mixed with melted butter and sugar (sounds gross but is actually not that bad) I also heard sex usually does the job ....if ur up for it. Stay active.
I would strongly recommend not getting induced by pitocin, labor becomes very painful and you usually end up getting an epideral for the pain and chances for c-section go up. I know people who have gone up to 2 weeks past their due dates, so hang in there honey!
Good luck to u, and congrats!!!!

they say to go for a long walk or having sex induces labour also to drink a small amount of Castor oil. you must remember that the baby has to be ready to come other wise all of these are not going to work. good luck and enjoy

I couldn't have put it better myself!! (I'm 39.5 weeks and just DYING to get her OUT!!)

I've heard the following things...NONE of which have worked for me so far:

- walk walk walk
- scrub the floor on your hands and knees
- have sex (semen helps to soften the cervix, orgasm helps to contract)
- eat spicy foods
- rest

Now, some people will tell you to take castor oil, but I've heard that can be pretty dangerous and will give you a nasty stomach ache.

I hope SOMETHING works for you!! Best of luck to you. I'm sending you some easy and quick labor mojo ♥

Go to a site called gentlebirth.org and in the 'search this site' section type in "natural inductions" there is much info there.

Just remember that no matter what...that baby will not come unless it is ready.

My friend went walking up hills and kept doing it and then she went into labor.
I lifted heavy stuff and went into labor early, though I don't recommend that.
