Last night, I came home to my urban, 5th floor, corner apartment and found myself locked out although I had a key. Well, someone had tried to open the door with a screwdriver (the marks were on the doorjamb) and had bent the metal piece inside the door effectively locking himself or herself out (which accounted for me being locked out). I was very surprised that someone would come way up there to break-in and with a screwdriver instead of a bottom floor. The question is do you think it was a neighbor or a stranger who came into the building??

Did you call the police and make a report? You didn't mention that. I would worry about why they picked your apartment too. Very interesting and disturbing situation you have there.

It doesn't matter if it was a neighbor or a stranger, someone tried to break into your apartment. You called the manager also? Tell me you did? You cannot be too careful. You cannot trust anyone.

This is a question for your manager and the police department. Did you call them? The police are trained for such investigations. The manager should be told so they can keep better watch on their apartment building by hiring security or putting up security cameras. You rent the apartment but they are responsible for the property. If your manager does not offer security, then find a new apartment that does. There are plenty that do.

The mature way: Notify the policemen and rig risk-free practices measures/alarms around your place. The immature way: discover out the place those childrens stay and drape rest room paper throughout their backyard/roofs. The cool way: Watch "domicile on my own a million,2, and 3" and study to establish traps to holiday burglars. Then tape them falling for those hints and upload it to Youtube and deliver me the link to lmao at. the two way, i'm hoping you have exciting and revel on your summer season.

Look over your shoulder to make sure you don't have a stalker. Seriously.
