I've been wondering about this. Do you have to have a separate memory card for every game you own, or can you just use one for multiple games?

Yes you can. And if you have too many saves on one memory card and start running out of room- you can buy a new memory card, or delete some older, useless saves from the one you have.

Yes. Try it and when you turn on your ps2, dont put a game in, just the memory card. Pick the memory card.

Yes, you can use it with many games. It's basically the same as a PS1 card, except the blocks are smaller (mega- and kilobytes) and the games can use up many blocks at a time.
