I have 2 gameboy advance units and a trading cord connecting the two. It's not letting me trade pokemon. It says the pokemon I want to trade is not ready. I'm trying to trade between Ruby and Red.
Anyone have any ideas why it's not working?

RED: u cant trade pokemon in RED with pokemon in ruby
FIRE RED: to trade u must first defeat the elite four. then go to the sevii islands. go to the One Island and find the ruby plate. then go to Five Island and get the sapphire plate. then u can trade pokemon in ruby with pokemon in fire red.

either your pokemon does not exist in red or it has a move that does not exist in red.
