Some people are buying their daughters bra's at age 8 or 9. So I would say around the age of 10. If you don't think she is ready, then you have to choose.

It's never too early, Her friends could already be using one!!
What my mom did for me and i was really greatful, was just bought me a training bra one day, and told me it was there for me to use it if i liked, This way i didn't feel uncomfortable about the fact that my body was changing, And even though i didn't like it at first, I got used to it, There is some really cool training bras available now days, Why not just buy her one now, Or ask her to come out and pick a cool one, This way there is open communication for you two to talk about how her body will change, It's little things like this when your young, that can make you feel more open to your Mom about talking about what your going through!!
Once she does start wearing the training bras, she will feel more confident when it comes to the stage she moves into cup sizes!!

I totally understand where you are coming from. I didn't start wearing a bra until I was 12. My daughter is 9 and I had to buy her one. It all depends on her development and if she is ready.

Is she ready for a bra.? If she is ready then buy her a bra. Some girls mature early. I was wearing a bra at age 11

When she starts to develope. When I was little (like 6), I just wore my bikini top around to act like I had one on.

when you feel she is ready, and if she starts develping, to avoid embarassment do i before secondary school cos there will be other girls there with them and she mite get embarassed not having one. talk to her about it.
