I doubt it. We had horses and a few pear trees. I'm certain they ate a few. Apples are fine. Apples and pears are in the same plant family. But as long as they are not eating a whole lot at once, they won't get sick. 1 or 2 is fine.

No. Horses are fine with pears. Anything in the cabbage family is dangerous, so watch broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower etc... because horses can't burp, and these are things that give them gas. They can end up with a stomach tortion or colic if they eat those things.

Apples , Carrots, and pears are great treats only to much is bad so dont overdue it.
