Any of the Islanders championships in the 70's/80's.
Only the Miracle on Ice can top that for me.

Bobby Orr 1970 Stanley Cup Finals.
30,000 people for the parade, in Boston we have had atleast 1/2 a million for the last few parades:
Patriots 2002, 2004,2005
Red Sox 2004 Sorry my father and grand father didn't live to see that one!)
Celtics 1974 1976 1981 1984 1986 (Len Bias, Reggie Lewis oh what could have been)
Bruins 1970 1972 (Glad they got rid of Sinden Finally-now we can improve-may be a real cup contender by 2008-2009)
The Red Sox drew over 1 1/2 million for their parade. You need some more party animals down there! (NC State was out for the year at the time of the parade, right?) Hopefully now that they won the cup they can get a huge following, good luck (Still can't get over them leaving Hartford)

Game Seven of the 1987 Stanley Cup Finals
Edmonton Oilers avoid blowing a three games to one lead in the series and defeat the Philadelphia Flyers 3-1 in the seventh game to win their third Stanley Cup in four years. Flyers goalie Ron Hextall was awesome throughout these playoffs and took home the Conn Smythe trophy.

I am a flyers fan that was at the igloo to see the flyers-pens play for 6 hours 59 minutes. Over 8 periods of hockey action. Almost 3 games! All they had left was coffee and nachos at the vendor stands! Then Primeau drove up the right side, took a slap shot just over the blue line and clanked the back fo the net. One of the most amazing memorys I will ever have in my lifetime.

My favorite memory would be the Montreal Canadiens cup run in the early 90's. Almost every game went into overtime and they just kept winning. I'm a Leaf fan, and it was so exciting and emotional to watch that I can still say this was my favorite memory of all time. (Montreal VS Buffalo that year was my favorite all time series, 5-4, 6-5 games..., it was crazy)

"Most favorite?" OK, oxymoronic grammar aside, it was the Canucks run in 1994 to the Final tied with seeing Gordie Howe and Bobby Hull combine for 5 goals in a 5-5 tie with the USSR in Game 4 of the 1974 Summit Series.

chadman said it perfectly!! Watching Steve Yzerman lift the cup for the first time was awesome. Being a fan since day one when they were better know as the "dead wings" it was great to see him finally get what he had worked so hard to get. In my eyes there won't be another player with that much class to hit the ice for many years to come.

Boby Orr's end to ender and flying. I'm not old enough to remeber that one but I see it or hear about it alot. But mine would be that I can remeber is this past season when Marco Stum and Patrice Bergeron of the Burins had two 2 on 1's in one game.
