Rent the Mel Gibson movie, or better yet read the play.

Here is an outline: http://www-tech.mit.edu/Shakespeare/hamlet/
Also check out: http://allshakespeare.com/hamlet/
and http://www.online-literature.com/shakespeare/hamlet/
which offers a searchable text of the play.
Wikipedia has a good essay on Hamlet: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hamlet
It includes a plot summary and a good description of the major characters.
You can buy the movie at Barnes and Noble: http://video.barnesandnoble.com/search/product.asp?z=y&EAN=085391903321

Here is the plot, short and dirty:
·Hamlet's dad, the late King of Denmark dies. Hamlet's uncle, Claudius, marries Hamlet's mom to become king.
·Hamlet sees a ghost
·Hamlet is pissed
·Hamlet sees the ghost again who say's I'm your dad, and your Uncle Claudius did me in.
·Hamlet is unsure and pretends to go mad.
·Polonius thinks it's because he wouldn't let Hamlet marry Ophelia, and goes to the king to set up a meeting that they can spy on.
·Hamlet stages a play based on daddy's death, Claudius can't bear to watch it.
·Hamlet thinks the ghost was right.
·Claudius wants to send Hamlet to England.
·Hamlet catches Claudius in pray, but doesn't kill him--he goofs up.
·Hamlet confronts mom and during the conversation he kills Polonius, who was hiding behind a curtain.
·Claudius sends Hamlet to England with a death sentence
·Opherlia goes mad, her brother Laertes raises a mob to avenge his family.
·Claudius turns Laete's anger on Hamlet.
·Hamlet's mom breaks into the conversation to tell Laetes that his sister has been offed.
·Hamlet returns to Denmark and finds Yorick's skull after a famous monologue he meets Laetes and both end up fighting in an open grave (people use this scene to say Hamlet was gay).
·Later Hamlet's mom drinks some poisoned wine (was it a mistake or suicide, the historians argue).
·Hamlet and Laetes fight and wound each other with the same poisoned sword.
·Hamlet's mom dies warning her son that the wine has been poisoned.
·Laertes confesses, and Hamlet pours the poisoned wine down his throat.
·A horrified Haratio makes a go for the poison wine, but Hamlet blocks him. Hamlet tells him to suggest that Fortinbras be his successor and orders Haratio to spread the truth and restore Hamlets good name then he croaks.
·Fortinbras comes in and is shocked, he orders a military funeral for Hamlet, while Haratio offers to tell him the whole story.

Hamlet is a tortured man who is into literature. He is in love with ophelia, but doesn't ever get to really tell her completely. It is a tragedy where basically everyone dies and the story also revolves around the fact that his father was killed by his uncle who wanted to marry his mother and did. I understood hamlet by watching the mel gibson version of it, which was done quite well and easier to follow along than most.

To save your marriage I suggest to check this website http://save-marriage-secrets.gelaf.info
After 9 years in marriage with my hubby with 3 kids, my husband started going out with other ladies and showed me cold love, on several occasions he threatens to divorce me if I dare question him about his affair with other ladies, I was totally devastated and confused until a old friend of mine told me about a method on the internet that help people with the relationship and marriage problem by the powers of love spells, at first I doubted if such thing ever exists but decided to give it a try, when I tried it, it helped me and within one week my husband came back to me and started apologizing, now he has stopped going out with ladies and he his with me for good and for real.

Watch a film of it, it's the shortest version and can normally help you remember it more.
It worked for me on Romeo and Juliet, didn't help much with my liking of Shakesphere.
