you need to spend a lot of time in research. for starters, conduct some survey on your target market. ask them questions that are relevant to your market analysis. making your subjects answer questionnaires about your product and them helps a lot. about the demographic thingy, go to the local statistics office. im sure that would be able to provide you with the relevant data.

Depends what market you're in. Find a specialist. I work for an agricultural market research specialist, but there are niche player everywhere. Do a web search for market research and your sector.

This is generally a service you pay for. The ones you can get for free are worth what you pay for them.

Now, some companies (mine included) will sometimes offer reduced up-front costs for a share of sales over a period of time. You can still get our best work and the long-term cost will be higher but your up-front expenses will be lower.
