I'm putting a little retro outfit together - I've got a bit of a Hendrix thing going on with the hair, goes well with my shirt (sort of shiny texture, not in perfect condition, but you'd hardly notice.)

I'm goin with the boots. Wear black 3 inch heals. But it does reveal your calves. It depends on if you have large calves, and it also depends on your bottoms choice. Best for the bottoms is a knee length skirt. Hope I helped!
