There is this dumbass in my league who has dropped alot of good players. Im hoping to get his clinton portis for my ahman green, should I pull the trigger? My other RB's are Edgerrin James and Steven Jackson.

Hell, if he is dumb enough to trade Green for Portis, hell yeah do it. Im much more worried about Greens health than i am Portis'. Portis is still a late number 1st round pick, early 2nd round pick if you are lucky. If you need to, package Jackson and Green for Portis and another player who will help your team out. Portis is becoming a great steal because people are worried about his health, when he is most likely not going to miss any part of the regular season. Pull the trigger already!!

OF COURSE. even if clinton portis is injured at the beginning of the season the injury isnt bad enough where he won't play the whole season. you can last a few weeks with just your original two RBs. Portis is easily one of the top 5 runningbacks in the game.

I was able to take the 6th pick in a 10 team league and pick up Portis with my second round pick. (15th selection overall).
I believe that he will do fine and I was able to get a Top-5 RB in the second round.
I would pull the trigger on that Green/Portis trade if you can do it, but I don't see anyone in their right mind making that trade.

Portis is worth drafting, because everyone is worried he's going to not be good this season, and though he might not play 1 or 2 games other then that he should be fine.

How the hell did you get both Jackson and James is my question...and a chance at Portis...do your friends want to join in a league with me? Go for it...the trade is a good one!!!

He's certainly worth Ahman Green anyway - i'd say it's worth the risk.
The fact that you have Edge AND Jackson is silly already. Is this a 6 team league?
