KEEP IT. Old games run best in their native environments. Never know when you want to play some DOOM old school or try to get elfish to run.

Seriously, DO NOT waste a single penny on upgrading it because it will simply require too much. People up above telling you to upgrade to XP or even Vista next year don't realize that you will be skipping 4 generations of windows. Even if you actually bought a full new version of an operating system, you will need a LOT MORE RAM, hard drive and a bunch of other stuff which is literally replacing your system. And did I mention, almost all of your software will be useless.

So just replace the system. If you already have three other systems, why do you want to cling to this ancient piece of technology? If you don't want to "waste" it then simply donate it and you can even get an exemption on your taxes.

If you still think it is a waste, then here are some uses. Use the tower to make a barbecue grill and use the monitor to make a birdhouse. You can use the CD-ROM as a cup holder. Take out the CRT from the monitor and slam it against a wall and see what an implosion looks like. It will suck everything in as opposed to an explosion. You can also use the tower to balance a table or something if one its legs is broken.

You cant improve from ninety 5 right this moment to XP, you will would desire to obtain ninety 8 first, set up that when which get XP. Or although if, in basic terms purchase a clean laptop. no rely if that's working ninety 5, that is not somewhat waiting to take care of broadband besides, maximum broadband centers require a minimum of 128mb memory, my previous laptop working ninety 8 initially in basic terms got here with sixty 4 mb and that had to get replaced final 3 hundred and sixty 5 days.

You really can't do too much with windows 95... you didn't give your specs and doubtful whether you could upgrade. Even if you could, MS isn't supporting windows 95/98 anymore. I think technology has just advanced too far. If I were you, I'd give it to some person who knows nothing and maybe can start learning about computers.

do you want to go to win 98, win xp, or maybe win 2000. Just remember you need more memory for newer operating systems. You can maybe think about a new computer for like
$ 500. If that's too much than win98 will be good i think.

Time for a new computer, it seems. You could upgrade the Windows, but if that computer is as old it sounds you probably won't be helping it any.
