How will Astrological Horoscopes be affected? Scorpio was ruled by Pluto and co-ruled by Mars. Does this mean Scorpio is ruled solely by Mars now?

I highly doubt that astrology will be effected by the rulings of science in this instance. Pluto is a heavenly body crucial to determining the positions and alignments of Fate and the individual Sun Signs. Whether or not astronomy recognizes it as a planet is irrelevant they may make some adjustments in referring to Pluto but even that is highly unlikely...

I don't think it will affect things too much. Scorpio may still be ruled by Pluto, even though Pluto doesn't have planet-status anymore. Some zodiac signs (I'm not sure which ones) are ruled by the Moon. The last I checked, the Moon isn't a planet.

I'm astrologer myself and I resent the dropping of Pluto as a planet.. As far as I'm concerned
it still is a planet for the sake of astrology and
I suspect most other astrologers likely won't pay any attention to what a few men have decreed! What gives them the right to deny Pluto planet status? You could say I'm freakin mad at them! But I don't waste my time being man! I will just do astrology as if nothings changed!

There was a wonderful mathematician named Johannes Kepler, who lived a few hundred years ago. He discovered the three laws of planetary motion. He also did a lot of astrological charts, and he believed that while Astrology might have some value, the problem was that we didn't have enough information for the practice to be really valuable. But since it was required of him by his patrons he did it anyway. So maybe all this means is that astrological horoscopes are still based on less knowledge than would be necessary for them to be really useful.

Pluto is now what is considered to be a sub-planetary body, too large to be an asteroid and too small to be a planet. They're discovering new planets almost all the time, and they've recently named two new ones, so maybe those can take over Pluto's job...

Pluto as a non-planet will have exactly the same effect upon us that Pluto as a planet had.

That briefly crossed my mind too, until I thought about it and realized that there are many celestial bodies used in astrology that aren't planets. It won't change a thing as far as horoscopes go. I'm sure you see what I mean.

Of course not. He's a dog. And he's been hanging around with Goofy since for ever. Just because all you people failed to accept this fact for the longest isn't some demonstrable, earth shattering event, y'know.

Wait and see. My guess is since Pluto hasn't literally been eliminated, there is no real difference.
