is anyone else absolutely disgusted and annoyed with these questions from prepubescent preteens coming on Answers and asking "Do you think im hott?" or "Im 11 and i want to have sex, is that too young?" Does anyone else think that Answers ought to be censored in such a way that adults can ask whatever they want, but the kids can't ask sexually explicit questions? Also, is anyone else as excited about the prospect of Labor Day, simply because all of the kids will be going back to school and they won't be here looking for "cyber bfs" and "hott gurls". Does anyone feel that this situation has gotten too far out of hand? I'm looking for an opinion, and I won't judge you on what you write because its your opinion, and you're entitled to it. Thanks.

For the record, I am 19 years old, and before people jump down my throat for being young, I also make an effort to answer questions with sincerity and ask reasonable questions, rather than come here to slander people or ask the same things over and over again. I also work full time, and am currently enrolled at Stanford University.

I feel that gives me the right to call myself a mature adult, so no more kids coming here to insult me. Have your opinions, but name calling is immature and pointless.

Here is my undiluted opinion. I am a high school teacher and I do not want to deal with these kids when I get home. I want a place to talk to adults about adult issues. I do not like the idea that a personal question of mine is being read by some hormone crazy teenager. They do not have the maturity to understand what the questions represent to the askers. They cannot comprehend how much courage it may have taken someone to finally ask a question, and how the stupid pre-teen answers can do more harm to that person. I sincerely wish there was a way to block anyone under the age of 21 from using parts of the answers site.

I think they are doing it becasue they can't out right ask adults and get the answers that they want. I think it would be great if Answers could sensor it, but since it's free it might be hard.

I think it's sad that 12 year olds are on here asking about bf, gf, sex, etc. That means someone isn't explaining it to them at home which is just bad. It will lead to lots of problems later on.

I think there should be a teen support kind of thing they can go to to get the answers they are looking for. They are trying to grow up way too fast. They need to slow down and enjoy youth. It's like they think having sex or a bf/gf is what being a grown up is all about.

They don't think of the consequences or problems that can happen if they don't know what they are doing and dive into something just be an adult.

What is the world coming too.

Good question. I feel the young teens have a right to be on Yahoo!Answers but I think there should be a way to censor their many senseless and inane questions lately. I will be so glad when school starts and many will have to go to bed earlier and hopefully do school work rather than be on here for 12-18 hours straight. I do enjoy it when a younger person gets on and has good questions and can put a different perspective into an answer. They deserve the right to be on here, but I also have a feeling that there are 15 &16 year olds and older who ask questions that are rude, ignorant, and bigoted just to be funny. These need to be censored also!

Begeeman, I totally agree with you!!! You know what is going to happen is there is going to be some really P.O.'d parents sometime soon that are going to stumble upon their kids screwed up questions and are going to complain to yahoo and all this will be gone. This is a really cool site and I enjoy reading most of the questions and find myself answering quite a lot of them. But how can you censor the young kids and their questions when nobody really knows their age except for when they advertise it. And while we are on our soap boxes, I wish that some of these people would learn to spell!!! Or do you feel lthat they just do it to attract attention?? It is really hard to believe that we have so many illiterate people in the world. There, Now I am done...

i know exactly what you mean there is too many Q's like this especially from younger members asking about sex and i am shocked at the content of some of them personally i was 18 before i went all the way with a guy and at 11 (the average age of people asking Q's about sex ) i was too busy playing with my dolls and having a normal childhood although these are the times we live in i only hope i raise my two daughters the way my mother raised me to have respect for my body and to make me aware that i do not have to do things with boys if i don't wish to do so. fingers crossed i suceed

I totally agree. I think kids these day are way too caught up in stuff like that and the media is to blame for this - everywhere you look are sexy images.

Boys didn't register on my radar till I was 17 or 18, and I'm glad it turned out that way.

Cheers!

That's offending 2 me cuz I'm only twelve yrs old, a good girl, but yet our school is quite more developed than most, & everything is exciting 2 us!!!!!! Most ppl in my class r 5'6-5'7. I'm only 5'1-2, but that doesn't matter! & btw! The ppl that answer these questions, look @ the title first!!! I admit it, I looked @ the title 2, but that's because no one is here in my life 2 tell me anything about bos, or 2 help me with my school work!!!!!!! I live in a hicktown where the school can BARELY pay 2 feed us!!! Our school is very responsible, & kids everywhere r growing up!!!! So u might just want 2 backoff & leave us alone!!!!!! So excuse me 4 wanting 2 no answers!!!!!!!! :*o jerk!

I hate it that kids are on this topic, they are going to learn to much to fast, I think that it should be at least a age restriction like 17 and above to get into this topic. Our kids all aready back in school in AZ, But I don't think that they will do anything abotu it, may we can find another place were its just adults, but I dout it.

Boy do I ever agree with you. There's also some twit who's handle is "twatwaffle" that asks the filthiest, most pointless questions I've ever seen. There should be a separate forum for those types of perverts also.
