The first link is an interesting article on mystery 'moving' rocks.
Looking further with the Joshua Tree information, it appears the name of the rock is "Giant Rock" It is in Yucca Valley and in the 50's, 60's and 70's a cave below it was the site of regular seances to contact aliens. There is an attraction near there called Giant Rock Airport, but airplanes don't land there. It is a tongue in cheek reference to Alien landings.
These items are near Joshua Tree National Park in California.

to no longer be diverse, yet i like dying valley in previous due spring quite if there has been multiple rain. The wild plant existence are merely alluring. I even have long previous interior the summertime too as a newborn, way too warm.
