Seeing all these lil freaks and fakes i thought i would ask the good people of the world..... what do you think a goth is? and if you put some sarcy half assed detrimental comment .... why do you think that?

A goth is someone who lives the life and feels as a goth, they are normally very open minded, enjoy doing the weird things and enjoy leather, chains and the typical Goth things. Few are actually violent as is also thought.
The you have the ones who act and look like a goth but they are outspoken, under 18 and spend most there time smoking, sleeping around and showing off about doing things for popularity. These are fakes and will most likly not goths a few years down the line, I know plenty of people like that.

My niece! LOL she is a an absolute goth and some people tend to give her dirty looks yet of all ... They only judge her for her clothes and make up. You know how people judge a book by its cover? They don't know her at all! If they made the effort to look beyond the black ... They's see a lovely, bubbly, caring girl, hard-working and a joy to be with! OK she dresses as she does but so what? She does more voluntary work to help causes she believes in than most people staring at her! If only they knew! It doesn't bother her though and i can respect her feelings. These people are just too shallow. Live and let live for goodness sake!

Goth, shortened version of 'Gothic'.
Doesn't take much imagination to put a face to the name does it?
I am, however, concerned that you would choose to exclude anyone from this clan of self confessed 'drop-outs'.
Is GOTH a religious sect now?
I have blond hair, can't wear red lipstick (it highlights my bloodshot eyes), and haven't worn a pair of black lace gloves in years.
But my heart is black and cavernous.
My mind is dark with stealth.
Am I exclusive enough to join your gang?....

Free thinkers who don't follow the herd. And have the courage to be different.
The ones I have met have been really nice, I love the colored hair.
I love all the different styles and cultures it makes the world an interesting place, wouldn't it be boring if everyone wore dark suits!

A person who dyes their hair black, wears either a very dark red lipstick or even a black one, has black eyeliner so thick round their eyes you can hardly tell they have any, their skin is very pale and they look at bit like death warmed up, they wear dark long clothes and coats and sometimes a thing like a dog collar round their necks, not very nice to look at, but guess it takes all sorts to make their world go round.
