I like Rolf H's list but I didn't see any Mid Eastern countries on his included. I always though either Kuwait or Quater were the highest income per capita.

Definitely Luxembourg.

What has the movie industry got to do with it. Indian movie industry is far greater than hollywood. And doesn't relate to per capita income at all in any possible way.

Luxembourg is, if you are looking at per capita numbers. US is #2.

If you look at GNP (income owned by citizens of Luxembourg), however, it drops to #15.

Luxembourg has tax laws that are very favorable to foreign investment which also helps to bump up their GDP.
