Boost uses nextell's towers. Nextell's reception is similar to Tmonile. Both Tmobile and Nextell have about half the reception of the other three: Cingular, Sprint, and Verizon.

Boost sucks the same way Nextel does. You will drop calls and loose signal. You may also spend more money on the service than a monthly plan. If you only use it for the direct connect is ok, but as far as making phone calls. Just tie two cans together with a string.
