they dont care if u think it is filth or obscene all they want is for u to like them enough to buy the cd so they get the profit. I have a difficult time with song lyrics b/c I have a 4 yr old who is a whiz kid with songs and after she has heard it 2 times she knows every word. including the cuss words or whatever. to answer ur question though it would be yes I have noticed but no they dont care.

That depends on the genre of the artist, I find that most "Rap Songs" fall into this type of "lyric filth" category and although I do like some "Rap Music" especially the first generation Rap Musicians such as "Sugar Hill Gang" ( Rappers Delight") which is a classic now, I dont like the current filth stuff at all. "Nelly" is good and "50 Cents" does sing some funny ( humourous) songs.

People are buying that crap, unfortunately... the people who buy it think it's cool when they are little, and by the time they grow up they act it out, can you say high crime rate, high divorce rate, and high drug rate. Sex, and every other animal desire is capitalised on. I hope there will be a change, when everyone realizes that this kind of lifestyle takes away more happiness than it creates and maybe morals will come back in style along with being happy with what you have, and maybe even true love.

As opposed to the clean, wholesomeness of:
“I really love your peaches, wanna shake your tree,” (Steve Miller Band)
”Pour some sugar on me babe,” (Def Leopard) or
“She wants a pearl necklace” (ZZ Top)?
Music is, and always will be, filthy. If you’re just now noticing, I suggest you get out more.

Yes and if the people who buy the majority of the music today quit music would clean up its act. I expect that a survey would show the major buyers are teens to mid-twenty age group.

This is a reflection of the times. We are living in an immoral society capable of anything.
