No, because it is an inborn trait reinforced by those who want unlimited power to control others,, for most humans to want to shirk their responsibility to take care of themselves.. But it can be put into remission by electing people that only support what the Framers of the Constitution listed as the specific things the Federal Government was supposed to be able to do.. Mainly,, Defend the Country, Control foreign Trade and settle disputes between the states.
Interfering with free enterprise through wage mandates, insurance coverage mandates, paying for the production, distribution and defense of child and homo-erotic pornography (the Mapplethorpe pictures), deciding who can or can't get married, giving special benefits and privileges to people based upon who they married, demanding that everyone say they are subservient to any deity as a part of the pledge of Allegiance, ,,, The list here is almost endless but none of these are within the purview of the Federal government but all are embraced and supported by those who claim to be "liberal" or "compassionate conservatives"..
The Founders of this Nation were Radical Liberals.. They envisioned a country where each individual was free to succeed or fail without government help or hindrance. A country where each individual could decide for themselves what if any deity they wanted to bow down to. A country where government could not be used by religion to oppress anyone and religion could not be used by government to oppress anyone.

Unfortunately today we have no political party that fully supports the Framers ideal of a very small, limited federal government.

The result is that we have something over 80 trillion dollars of unfunded liabilities that our children and grand children and great grand children will have to pay. This will require they pay about 85 cents of ever dollar they earn to the federal government to pay off the Medicare and social security debt that the Liberals and compassionate conservatives have promised in their efforts to buy votes from the gullible and ignorant that are produced by the liberal controlled education establishment who won't teach the truth about the reasons for the Framers goal of a small very limited federal government and the resulting expansive individual freedoms they tried to secure for everyone..

These unknown authors had already seen the flaws in "true democracy" and the founders of the U.S.A. wrote the Constitution and Bill of Rights in an attempt to prevent these misuses of democracy. What actually happens is in the 16th week of development the pituitary gland develops. The amount of protein that you mother eats in that week determines you level of liberalism VS competitive aggression AKA Redpublican.

I am not making this up there are several ongoing studies.

What this means in Society is, when cultures fare well the women eat more meat, then give birth to Republican babies.

Remember the Beatnik and Hippie movements this rash of liberalism followed the depression and WWII war time food rationing. Women had less protein and gave birth to liberals.

Yeah, dont read anything for a few years... I used to be a die hard conserv too dude, but now I realize things are jacked up, and liberal means "to change" nothing else. We need some changes for the good. I am a former marine and I do reluctantly say I am what I used to hate (still do in some cases) but to label everyone a liberal then unpatriotic in the same breath is what kills me. I don't understand why people can't see past the end of their noses and look at the longterm, that is most conservatives (not all but most).
