We are thinking about retiring to Scottsdale or PAlm Springs. Any thoughts either way?

Lots of folks in Scottsdale and Phoenix. Palm Springs maybe pricier but if that doesn't bother you what the hey.

Hemet Ca. they say Hemet is Heaven.. its on the other side of the mountain from Palm springs.

How about Havasu, their all pretty warm most of the year........I prefer Page Arizona, just a few minutes from Lake Powell. Have to be near water.
