There's always risk when a person undergoes surgery. Risk of infection, risk of blood clot, risk of pneumonia, risk of reactions to anesthesia, just to name some.

Did you mean to spell "breast augmentation"?
If so,then the answer is yes.
Any surgery that requires that you be "put under" is always risky. Some people never wake up from the anesthesia. That's pretty uncommon though.Very few people have to worry about that.
Then there's the risk of infection.Even if your surgeon runs a clean shop,he's gonna leave a couple of really big incisions that YOU have to take care of.I'd bet these are even more of a pain in the *ss to take care of than a piercing is! And we all know how easily piercings get irritated! An infection,if not treated in a timely manner, can KILL you!
Most breast augmentation surgeries are safe enough these days. Most of the horror stories that you hear are from the days when they first started administering them.Believe it or not they used cushion foam for some of the very first operations!
Something tells me that you're pretty young.Do yourself a favor and let yourself "grow" a little more before you consider having your body cut open for cosmetic reasons.I'm sure you have enough beautiful qualities to more than compensate for any physical short-comings that you THINK you have!

It's augmentation. Yes, people can die from the procedure if the proper precautions are not taken. They can get infection or could have a reaction to the anesthesia. As with any surgery there is a risk.

Yes indeed, I know of a person who died from the anesthesia. Complications from surgery can also kill you.Either way, the doctor and hospitals still get paid.
