Humans didn’t evolve from monkeys. We evolved from a common simian ancestor about 10 million years ago (my dates are not perfect, but I’m just reciting elementary school knowledge). When these ancestors gave rise to a few different proto-humans and proto-monkeys, those animals outcompeted the more ancient simian ancestor which then died out. That left separate branches which continued (and still continue) to evolve, with new forms usually outproducing and displacing the older ones.
Given more time (and a natural environment), monkeys and humans will continue to evolve further apart.

the theory of evolution does not say we evolved from monkeys. Monkeys and humans both evolved from a common species

We did not evolve from monkeys. If you properly studied evolution, you would know that we share a common ancestor with apes. That is why there are apes and there are humans. The common ancestor was not an ape or a human. It just evolved into two species. The common ancestor does not exist anymore.

We didn't evolve from monkeys. Monkeys are another branch of evolution. The theory is that we had a common ancestor but our evolutionary paths diverged.

Man did not evolve from either monkeys or apes. They evolved from a separate branch of primates. You however, I suspect, may be the exception.

we didnt evolve from the type of monkey we see today, each primate branched out to evolve into different species. it just so happened that our branch formed intelligent primates that eventually further evolved to form humans.
ps we all evolved from single cells and there is still plenty of them still around.

Because they adapted into a niche of survivability. If all species were the same then there would be no life left on earth by now. Biodiversity is what has kept the earth populated and being different is probably the most important survival strategy over the longterm.
