I usually don't have too much stress in my life. For some reason, I just don't let very many things bother me. It rarely builds up to the point where I want to explode or go kill someone.
I think it's because I can channel my anger and negative emotions into something more productive.
What do you do?

I deal with it in a smilar way. I can use my anxiety in my favor, making use of the heightened senses that come with it, disregarding the panic or fear or anger. It works quite well, and in this case, stress is good to have. It makes me more aware and more in tune with the situation.

I would love to be able to channel my emotions...or even just control them. If I'm stressed to the max I usually let myself have a good cry. Just let it all out...feel sorry for myself...call my mom... Then it's all done and over and I feel like a new person again 30 minutes later. Childish? Yes. Effective? Absolutely!

Yes, my creative efforts seem to provide a very constructive outlet for any frustration I may temporarily feel...and this is the key component.."Temporary". I do get frustrated by ignorance, intolerance, close-mindedness, injustice, etc...so I write about it. I always remember it is a temporary state of mind. I try not to "react" and be proactive in my approach to tough or challenging situations. I gained the ability to diffuse volatile situations peacefully.

I also remind myself of the existing beauty in the world and shift my focus to more soothing things. I am a passionate personality...and it often spills into all aspects of my life...so I learned to be passionate in a more constructive matter. I acknowledge all emotional ranges and I am often in touch with the frustration of others...and sometimes, I give it a voice. It can be very productive. This is how we generate improvement in a complex, and often unjust, world.

Mostly, I cry bcs it gives my nerves a relief and I feel that the stress leaves my body with the help of tears. Crying also refreshes my faith, conscience, self-compassion and gives me inner peace. I feel close to God when I cry. I also have a theory : I dont think that tears are meaningless, I think the area that tears touch on our cheeks is special and the weight, texture and warmth of tears is created to activate that specific area which calms you.
This might sound meaningless but I feel much much more relief if I do not wipe my tears away and let them slowly move on my cheeks.

Change of scenery. Take a walk, smell the fresh air. Think about what it is that's stressing you and compare that to the bigger picture in life. (in other words....try putting things into perspective)
If you can do this, you'll usually find that whatever you were stressing over doesn't compare to the bigger things going on in this world.

Running is a great stress reliever for me. I'm pretty big and slow but it helps to be out. Some of my best runs have been when I've been pretty stressed.

I do exactly the same. I rechannel frustration. I have conquered anger and frustration in my life by seeing that it is non sense. With people frustrating me i see it from their point of view with powerful empathy. With events and circumstances i accept with with a stoic resolve and feed my productive energies with the affect it has upon me. This way i am not very stressed. At 25 why should i be. But with hope even at 95 i'll still have this knack.
But how do you relieve stress in others lives around you?

When I was able I would go out and do some exercise, mostly jogging. It really does work.

It also gives you time to mentally cool down, and feel better. Then finish with a nice hot shower and you should be golden!
