really depends on your doctor and how complicated/uncomplicated your pregnancy has been up until this point.. i am 37 weeks, had an appointment at 36 and won't have another until i'm 38 and that's just to check and see how much i'm dialated. most normal docs start seeing you every week once you hit 36 weeks, but i see air force docs and that's how they do it...

You should start seeing your OB as soon as you find out you're pregnant. At about 7-8 mths (if your pregnancy is normal) you'll go to an appt every 2 weeks, instead of once a month. At 9 mths, you'll go every week. Starting at about 37 weeks, you start getting weekly vaginal exams to check effacement/dilation and how the baby's doing. This seems to be the routine schedule for a normal pregnancy.

In the most common cases, you start seeing your OB once a week during the last 4 to 6 weeks of your pregnancy. In some cases, if there are causes for concern you could start seeing your OB weekly earlier. For the most part, it depends on how your pregnancy is going.

Your Uterus (womb) the position the child grows and develops is a pelvic organ till 12 weeks at the same time as it begins growing an belly organ also. it quite is, it begins rising above the right of your pelvis round this time. often of thumb the right of your Uterus (noted as the fundus) grows about 1cm a week. So operating example at round 16 weeks it is going to likely be 0.5 way between your pelvis and tummy button (umbilicus). it really is about the time that women persons commence to sense a bump. through feeling your tummy your physician or Midwife should be able to furnish you a real looking answer. it really is all assuming you do not have twins or more desirable. Ultrasound scans are very precise at relationship pregnancies at this factor.

i Think in your ninth month you should start seeing your OB once a week. I never got to the 9th month so I'm not 100% sure but that sounds right to me

I don't think you go once a week until you are about 9 months.
