Anyone had a really freaky or odd meeting of a celebrity?
It didnt involve me directly, but this was a funny story at the time.
I was living in Las Vegas with my brother. And we had a neighbor couple at our apartments. The husband worked at "Cheatas" which is the same strip bar that "Showgirls" was filmed and set in. Now this happened in 2000 long after that movie was filmed.
but one weekend the wife's cousin came into town and we all went out on the city one night. we ended up stopping at Cheatas and the cousin Ashley decides to get some lap dances liek the rest of us.
Well I had gone to hang out and get some drinks and didnt see this, but from what i hear she had a rather scarry experience.
She was geting pretty drunk and not watching where she was walking.
She bumps into someone, turns around, screams in horror and runs.
It was Mike Tyson.
The reason she did so, was that he had once raped a stripper.

umm guess you missunderstood me
SHe wasnt a stripper.. but she ran into Mike Tyson who had raped strippers in a bar.. (well from one) so she feared he might rape her just being there.

My husband was installing wiring for a stereo system for Gene Hackman and literally ran into him around a corner in his house.
I was in line at a seafood restaurant and Johnathan Winters was right behind us in line. He was just as funny and charming in person. I have always loved him.
Nothing stranger than that. I guess I am pretty boring.

When I went to Red Bank, NJ w/ a bunch of friends I met Kevin Smith while he was filming a promo for Clerks II for the Tonight Show. One of my friends brought his camera and he was nice enought to take a picture w/ all of us.

actually this isnt mine but a close friends. im leaving her name out due to privacy issues (that and she doesnt know im doing this). she was in a restraunt in california i believe and she was eating. this oldish guy comes up and talks to her and she said he was really strange and kinda creepy. anyway. she said that it was almost like he was hitting on her. he left shortly after starting the conversation in a LIMMO, and she was sitting there and thinking...and then it hit her..that was JACK NICKOLSON!!!! she said she didnt realize it till he left, but she says it really was him cos she described him in detail and how he talked and everything. she said she felt pretty stupid not knowing at the time and was a little starstruck afterwards.
