I want to become better friends with a guy I've known for like 4 years, but just recently he seems kind of shy around me. I like him, and I want to be really good friends. How can I get him to talk to me more? Why would he suddenly be shy?

He may like you, but just talk yo him and make him feel comfortable and everything willbe fine. Also he might be waiting for you to make the first move!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sounds like he likes you, though I could be wrong. Some guys just don't really talk because they are too scared that the girl would not speak to him again. All I can say is try to talk to him because he might be waiting for you to speak first or he's too scared to talk first.

I think that you should start talking to him more, and the reason he is shy is because he likes you but he dose not know what to say to you

call him ask him to come hang out with u i mean if u have known him for 4 yrs than it shouldnt be weird to call n ask him to talk to you or hang out or somthing

say a few things to him such as , Hi how are you? what are you doing tonight? would you like to hang out with me ?/anything simple . if he wants to and can. he will.
