Raise your child on the works of Anne RIce - teach him/her to feed on the 'evil doer' only. Hopefully as your child ages, he/she will learn to accept the fact that he/she will be forever stuck in a child's body.
Or, just leave your kid out in the sun for a day- that'll take the WHOLE problem off your hands.

-Expose him to sunlight.
-Stab him in the heart
-Feed him garlic
-Expose him to a cross
