I believe the usual waiting period is 1 year. Your lawyer should be able to tell you what the law is in your state. Each state is different.

it depends on what state u r in and if the divorce is contested. a divorce will take longer to finalize if it is contested. do u have a lawyer? any lawyer should be able to give you an answer.
