Ovulation usually takes place 14 days after the beginning of your menstrual cycle. The time of ovulation within the menstrual cycle is determined by the luteal phase, which is usually 12 to 16 days long. You can calculate the time of ovulation within your cycle by subtracting the length of your luteal phase from the length of your cycle. For example, if your cycle is 28 days long and your luteal phase is 12 days long, the ovulation will occur on day 16 of your cycle (28-12=16). The exact time of ovulation may vary within your cycle, because ovulation can be delayed by a number of factors such as stress, illness, diet, or increased physical activity.

Ovulation occurs at a different time for everyone, but it is TYPICALLY about halfway through your cycle. I have a 27 day cycle & I ovulate between days 10 & 12, so it is a rough guess. THe only way that you can know for sure is to read your body symptoms (cervical mucous) & use some detection method (charting, ovulation predictor kits or a fertility monitor - which is what I use)

Ovulation occurs generally around 14 days BEFORE your next period! That is also based on a 28 day cycle! So if you are regular and have a period every month around the same time, i would say 14 days BEFORE your next period!
Someone women feel slight cramping in the hip area.
If you are still unsure of when you are ovulating try a website. I used babyzone.com.
Good Luck!

the average is between 12-14 days after your cycle....and your first day of your period counts as one day...so lets say your period goes for 5 days usually then that is 5 days already out of the way and then count from there up to 12. That is just the norm but i would go to the doc if i were you and let them do a fulliculogram to check to see when you ovulate. Its a good thing tot know if you are TTC.

every woman is different, some ovulate during menstral, however most women are most fertial after and up to 7 days. Once a month you are fertile so thats how long you have to wait to be fertile again.

Ovulation occurs approximately 14 days AFTER the FIRST day of your last period, if your cycle is the usual 28 days.
Here's a website with an ovulation calculator:

I'm wit ya girl.. All that ovulation stuff can be so hard to understand...check your temperature... track this, track that... I've got my own way and it's alot easier. Go to this webiste, put in the dates from your last period and It will tell you your fertile and MOST fertile days. Also, take note of when you discharge. If it's a more whitish color, that's a sign of ovulation.

Right after your menstruation ends a few days later is when you are fertile. I'm not sure how many days but its maybe 4 or 5 days. You can always get that ovulation test to see when you are fertile

It usually occurs in the 14th day of your cycle. Theoretically you are fertile after the 10th day after your first day of menstruation, and until about 10 days before the start of your next menstruation. All these apply only if your cycle is regular.

This depends on your menstrual cycles. Are your periods regular? What you do to find out, is count from the first day of your period to the first day of your next period. Let's say that your periods are 30 days between, then that means that your best chances of conception is around day 15.
