Of course!!! Almost all religions hold that all make it to a place of redemption after many lives. This also fits in well with current scientific thought amoung many. Remember all you exsist as really is energy! Energy never dies and will eventually return to a balanced state. Every religion also explains that it is impossible for a regular human being to not sin in this wolrd. Take your sin as a learning experience because that is exactly what it is!

Faith is the only pre-requisite.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only son, that whoever believes in him shall not parish, but have eternal life.
John 3:16

Where do you get faith?
Faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word of Christ.
Romans 10:17

If we confess our sins, God is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

But that's not like a magic trick, you do the sin, confess, do the sin, confess, do the sin and on and on. We are to change our minds about sin, and turn to the living God from our sin.

I think you should read the gospels and the letter of Paul to the Romans. The gospels tell you all about who God is and what kind of God he is, because Jesus Christ is God, as well as His Son. And Romans talks about sin and how God forgives us of it.
