going to Disney land and my first real visit to an amusement park. Oh and those trips to the museum (my dad always had to make every trip "memorable")

When I was a child, we suffered from terrorism attacks very often and also, we had blackouts almost everyday.
My mum bought me a Disney's little books collection and everyone came with a cassette: you read as you hear the story. Anyway, I remember that when we were out of light, she made some popcorn, and put the cassettes in the player (it had batteries obviously) and heard them by hours. When the light returned, we wished it were gone again :)

Going to the beach with my mom and dad when I was about 3 and my little brothers before they separated and divorced. I remember being on dad's shoulders, he was holding me up in the water, so the waves wouldn't get me. I was scared but I knew my dad wasn't gonna let anything happen to me. My mom was freaking out cause she thought he'd drop me but of course he didn't. That sadly is the only thing I remember from my childhood with my parents.

My favorite uncle coming to visit us. He was a bachelor and handsome and I always loved him. He would always take us to the corner store and buy us candy and give us a bit of money. We were quite poor and so this was a super wonderful treat for us. I'm a grown woman now and he is almost 70 years old, but I still love him the best.
